Cube Droid Holiday Special (for MSX2)

Because the MSX is severely lacking proper Christmas titles. And my hands were itching... here's a little Christmas gift:
🎄 Cube Droid Holiday Special 🎄
They're back - AND they nicked your Christmas tree!
This is a free 24 level pack! It's Christmas themed and you don't need the original Cube Droid to play this.
Although it would be best to play the original game first because there's no instructions with this game.
Holiday Special also introduces a new kind of Teleport crate. This red banded crate contains valuable items and will automatically teleport to safety when the alarm is tripped. When this happens, you might lose your cover, so make sure to move fast. Or smart.
But there's more! An alternative Christmassy music score, provided by Jorito, makes the game extra jolly!
This game is best consumed before the end of the holiday season. Family playing is highly encouraged!

Install instructions
Run the .rom file on an MSX2 emulator or (ideally!) on your real MSX2. Remember you need MSX-MUSIC to enjoy game music. If you have a real FM-PAC, you will also be able to store your progress.

🎵 Also, be sure to check out the OST by Jorito who did an incredible job of making a "Christmassy" sound, using just MSX-MUSIC which really doesn't have any "Christmassy" instruments! He's on SoundCloud and YouTube.

Hey! Thanks for the review! I was actually able to follow along in German ( thanks to my Dutch roots! ) -- Looks like you were overthinking the puzzles too much? The first levels are actually quite easy. Sorry! 😅
If you like the game, you should probably start with the regular version, which is also on Itch.io. It explains the enemy types a bit better and the levels start easier. The Holiday Special is quite a bit more difficult.

Thank you! I will have a look. 😊 Unfortunately, there wasn't enough time to look at each of the many new games that we show in our livestream in detail. Nevertheless, we would like to support the developers without badmouthing their games. That's why we always only give our subjective opinion and are happy to show the games again at a later date, for example after a major update or when a final version is released. 🙂
